PowerPoint 97/2000 Viewer

The Microsoft PowerPoint 97/2000 Viewer allows you to share PowerPoint 97 or PowerPoint 2000 presentations with users who do not have PowerPoint installed on their systems. The PowerPoint Viewer allows users to view and print PowerPoint presentations, but it does not allow them to edit the presentations.

Installing the PowerPoint 97/2000 Viewer

To install the PowerPoint 97/2000 Viewer, distribute the file Pptvw32.exe to users and instruct them to run the file from their local hard disk. The Pptvw32.exe file is located in the \PFiles\ORKTools\ToolBox\Tools\PPTView\ppview97.exe folder on the Office Resource Kit CD-ROM.
